    Relationship Counseling

    Relationships are tough.

Don’t let Facebook and Twitter fool you into believing that everyone has an easy time in relating.

We are all in a relationship, whether it is in friendship, or from our family of origin. The success of how we relate to each other can determine our mental health and our positive outlook in life.

Are you a Father, Mother, Step-mother, Step-father, child, sibling, grandparent, co-worker, spouse, and or friend? These are all titles that we can identify with.

How are our relationships? Are they struggling? Do you feel isolated and alone? Do you find that we spend most of our time at work and avoid conflict? Do you stuff your feelings until they are in a rage? Do you rage and then feel relief, but live with the guilt that you have hurt and damaged your relationships?

Do you end up using a substance to deal with your depression and loneliness’ and as a way to build a social network? Don’t let alcohol fool you into believing that you need it to feel better. There are ways to find joy and build commonality that do not involve the bar.

You don’t have to live that way.
