    Michelle Muff, MA, LMFT

    Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

Since 1991, I’ve walked alongside families and individuals as they faced the challenges and heartaches of modern life. My work is grounded in both professional expertise and a deep sense of Christian purpose. I believe that to be fully healed, we all need to sit in the lap of God and be loved.

I am honest, authentic, and future-minded – qualities that I bring to every session. My clients describe me as compassionate, real, and full of hope. Whether life feels overwhelming, or you just need encouragement and practical tools, I give of myself fully during our time together.

    My Approach

I provide support and practical feedback through a blend of CBT, DBT, and Solutions-Focused Therapy. With understanding and care, I help you build on your strengths and reach the growth you’re striving for.

I help you heal by treating your body, mind, and soul. That means learning to nourish your physical health with rest, movement, and mindful eating, while also cultivating healthy thought patterns and strengthening your spirit. You’ll find a place in therapy where forgiveness and grace are possible – where you can begin to love yourself and receive God’s love more deeply.

    My Story

On August 26, 2003, I stood in an ER hearing words no parent ever wants to hear: my 3-year-old daughter had a 50/50 chance of surviving meningococcal septicemia, a rare and often fatal blood disease.

I watched her tiny body turn purple as her blood vessels burst. She could have lost her arms or legs. People all over the world prayed. God’s love and grace carried us through.

And here is the miracle: that same little girl – who once clung to life – is now a fourth-year medical student, preparing to graduate as a doctor in May and marry her beloved in June. Her story is one of resilience, faith, and unshakable hope – and it reminds me daily of why I do what I do.

    What I Believe

I believe you can get through your current pain and come out stronger.
I believe forgiveness is possible, even when it feels impossible.
I believe joy can return to your life – even in seasons of loss or fear.

If gloom is clouding your vision, I will help you uncover gratitude in your daily life and be amazed again at the gifts of love, hope, and happiness. I have seen the miracles God has done in my own story, and I am here to help you discover His grace in yours.
